I am a fine art photographer based in the South West, who specialises in themes of femininity and the underlying challenges that affect today’s modern women. This has led to the construction of gender-conscious projects that acknowledges the social and political position of women in society.

As a woman, I am deeply motivated by today’s climate, particularly the shifting position of women in society in the face of ongoing political, cultural, and legal change. Through my lived experience, I am driven by a desire to challenge dominant narratives surrounding womanhood and to explore how identity, power, and autonomy are shaped through personal and collective experience.

My practice is informed by a feminist perspective, grounded in values of autonomy, equity, and visibility. I prioritize complexity over idealization, using mixed-media photography to challenge conventional representations of women. Narrative guides the intention of my work, with symbolic approaches to editing used to articulate meaning and project intent.
