Period Poverty

Period poverty is described as having limited access to safe and sanitary period products, as well as inaccessibility to hygiene facilities and menstrual education. Over half of the world’s population experience periods, prompting the question- ‘Why isn’t it everyone’s business?’. This project explores such topic, through a series of explorative images that delves into both period empowerment and menstrual taboos.
